Mission

Athelo is on a mission to empower breast and gynecological cancer patients and survivors

We believe all women should have access to the latest medical research and understand their body to drive their treatment journey. Athelo allows women to tell their own story by providing real time feedback on their new baseline of normal and meaningful guidance on their treatment journey. We're seeking a mission driven individual motivated to build a more equitable care journey for the four million cancer survivors in the US and beyond.

Who We Are

Athelo is the first biometric-based coaching platform built for breast and gynecological cancer patients and survivors. Athelo curates and decodes topical medical research while providing meaningful community connection and virtual coaching to patients on their treatment journey.

We are an angel-backed startup building the future of cancer care.

Athelo was founded by Jessica Thurmond and Monica Schmiede after personally navigating the care journey of loved ones. They both come from a career in healthcare and are motivated to bridge the gap between the industry and patients.
